Estate Planning 101
January 27 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 amFree
If you’ve made a New Year’s resolution to get your estate plan in order, then this free seminar is for you. Many people mistakenly believe that estate planning is just about drafting a will. However, our seminar will show you that a proper estate plan must also address other fundamental considerations, such as planning for incapacity, asset protection, and charitable giving (just to name a few). Our seminar will address the dangers of failing to have an estate plan in place, including how property is distributed under the laws of intestacy and the process for appointing a guardian or conservator for someone who is incapacitated.
Because the use of trusts is so prevalent in estate planning, our seminar will also discuss the basic trust arrangement and highlight how a revocable living trust can be used as an effective substitute for a last will and testament. Seating is limited, so don’t put off thinking about your estate plan any longer.
